Menu Design “Prime 120”

This project was a mock menu redesign for Prime 120 steakhouse. I wanted to try and make a menu for an upscale restaurant that had high dollar food options. The design appears simple and easy, but feats like formatting many different options, lack of pictures, and type treatment made for a more testing job than anticipated. I enjoyed the struggle and learned a lot of little things along the way. I typically stray away from designs that contain dense bodies of type, but found this project to be a great teacher. I believe it to be a great enhancement from the original menu which was resembled more of a document than I menu. Nonetheless it is not perfect, but my next project like this will be much finely tuned.
